Born and raised in the Samoan isles until her late teens, she was one of the pioneers attempting to reclaim her heritages birthright after all the Samoan people had to flee the isles in earlier generations from the rising waters. It had been a very rough l ife, made in part rougher when her parents elected to return to the mainland and southeastern part of the former United States, but she exercised her heritage right to remain on the isles. That changed when she received word a couple years later of the att acks on the mainland in the area, her father badly injured and her mother killed by these invaders, it was enough to send her back to the mainland on the next ship to help if she could. It was too little, too late however, the fathers injuries to grievous to stop he passed away weeks later before she could complete the long journey home and did not find out until then. Desiring revenge, she joined the militia and entered the freedom fighter division and soon thanks to her rough upbringing rose in the rank s, entered Huntress school and then was selected to test for the high rank of Hunt Mistress which she achieved, all in three short years. During that time she was among the fighters able to actually fight hand to hand the attackers in a couple attacks and send then in retreat. The result was her becoming a teacher of the Huntress school as well as sole teacher of a group of commando type fighters specializing in hand to hand that seemed effective against the enemy.
